It inhibits HMG-COA reductase, which is an enzyme related to the synthesis of Cholesterol in Body.

>Rosuvastatin(Crestor) can affect to muscle cell and cause muscle pain.
4) Drug interactions
> Aluminum and Magnesium hydroxide antacids should not be taken within two hours of taking Rosuvastatin (May decrease blood concentration of Rosuvastatin by 50%)
> taking Rosuvastatin together with Immunosuppressive such as Cyclosporine or itraconazole may cause high risk of increasing liver toxicity
